The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won a stunning victory in the Delhi Assembly Election 2025, ending the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) 10-year control over the city. BJP clinched 48 out of the 70 seats, while AAP managed just 22 seats. Congress got none.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, celebrating the win, said, “Delhi has freed itself from 10 years of ‘AAP-da’.” This victory marks BJP’s return to power in Delhi after 27 years and comes as a major boost after their performance in the last national elections.
Delhi’s Real Estate Market:
The property market in Delhi NCR is thriving. Now, luxury flats start at ₹5 crore, showing a big demand for fancy homes. Companies like Max Estates are doing very well, selling lots of properties. People are excited about the Delhi Master Plan 2041, which could make the area even more popular.
Infrastructure Projects:
Two big parks are being built – Bharat Vandana Park in Dwarka and the Botanical Gardens of India Republic in Noida. These are expected to make these places more attractive. Also, Prestige Group is planning new malls in Delhi NCR, which means more jobs and shopping options.
Political Outlook:
With BJP now in charge of both Delhi and the central government, there’s hope for faster development and reforms. But the political scene might still be complicated, with AAP leaders like Atishi keeping their seats, suggesting AAP could still have some influence.
